Daylight Savings Time
Don't forget to set your clocks back an hour tonite if you are on the Daylight Savings Time system. Clocks go back at 2:00 AM.

It's because during Winter the days are shorter and we move the clock to get more daylight during working hours, at least I think it is that which is the cause for it. It is better that it is dark at 1600 than at 1500 
I did that last week tho, the thing I don't get is why we have different dates for it all over the world

It allows people to stay on their normal schedules but not lose an extra hour of daylight.
