You should definitely compile a list of Game Dev websites, with both GameDev.net and Gamasutra on the list. Both are top-notch game development websites with thousands of articles on the subject between the two.
As for Game Engines, C4 Engine certainly needs to be on there.
For graphics...
I hate to be a jerk, but in my book, that's spoiled. My parents would never pay for my website. I had a job at your age, and I made enough to get myself some nice stuff. But shouldn't you try to at least pay for it yourself? I'll tell you right now, you become a lot more dedicated when you pay...
No no no, you're going about this in the wrong way. Having moderator applications often results in a weak team of staff. Which is comprised of members who just want the position, and do nothing to help. I recommend you observe members on your board, see who posesses the qualities of a good...
I was told that advertising Wc3 websites was allowed, so I apologise if I'm breaking a rule or something.
Anyway, Warcraft 3 Creations is a new modding site that was founded by myself about 2-3 months ago. We aren't very big yet, but we will grow! We are very willing to help with any problems...
Note that Java and Javascript are two completely different things. Java is developed by Sun Microsystems, and is based on C++. Javascript is a language, and I'm sure you mean Javascript.
But yeah, you'll need to know a lot about flash if you want to do something like.
I suppose it depends on what you're interested in doing. Such as I enjoy making spells and systems.
The only info I got from GUI was globals. But locals are so much better, no need for that udg(User Defined Gayness) crap.
I was just thinking that we could try to help users who intend to get into the website business, and provide them with information that will help them put the right foot forward into the webmastering business.
My idea is simple, to compile a list of webhosting providers, and reviews.

It's not like I'm a slave or anything. It takes 30 mins every morning, and it gives me an extra $200 every month. And I spend it on other things too(Just got a new PC).
But let's not continue to further draw this discussion from it's original topic.
I'm actually limited to around 15GB of bandwidth an hour, and we're not even close to that limit, I doubt we'll ever get that high. I don't plan on getting that big, ever, I don't want an insanely big community, I want quality over quantity, forget traffic and post counts.
TriggerHappy, I'm...
I have this model on my computer, but I got it from my cousin, so I have no idea who the author is. And I don't want to post it without the author. I'll look for the author and give you the model once I find the author. Until then, sorry.
Well, people usually export those game rips from other games, convert the model file to MDX using some weird converter. I'm really don't know much about the whole process, as most wc3 communities frown upon game rips.
Now that I think about it, you might be able to use MS3D to do that. Just...
- No Terrain Limits(I'm mostly a terrainer)
- Properly implemented trackables(why Blizzard never finished them, no one knows)
- A stronger programming language than JASS, or just more functionality.
That's just about all I can think of.
Just as side note, mapcrafting is actually merging with my warcraft 3 site, http://www.wc3creations.net
And TriggerHappy, you said you're offering unlimited hosting, but you only have 600GB? My server has 750GB...
