You have to eventually break compatibility. If you don't, you'll be supporting legacy code / applications forever, and that is never a good thing.
It would be better for Apple to switch to a different ratio now, rather than 2-3 years from now, when there are even more apps they'll be breaking.

I was really disappointed with the second half of this series. It just wasn't very good, in my opinion.
I did love the music though. Anything that involves supercell can't be that bad, right?
In the books, they give several examples of how advanced Capitol technology is, but you're right, it does seem to me like they left that detail out of the movies.

Anyway, I feel that the book was most certainly better than the movie, but it was still a pretty good adaption. I dragged a few of my friends to see the movie with me, and got at least two of them interested in reading the books.
