Cannot save .w3m files as w3m after editing, only as .w3x

As the title says, me nor my friends can save a map that we play using RoC as a RoC file after editing small things on it - even if we don't edit at all!

Any help?

No help needed, just stop editing other peoples maps.
I do not know why it does so, but I know that it is good that it do so. Why?
Because it protects random noobs(no offense) to edit other peoples maps.
Just my meaning.

MCR-ELSKER, so what if I edit someone elses map? We are talking about updating a map, making it better. So if you do not have the answer, or you don't want to tell, then fine. But please shut the f*ck up about editing others map is a bad thing, as this is done in the best possible regard, we are not planning to steal any credits at all.

Now please, before answering on any future threads, use your brain instead of your arse.

Did what I suggest before work?

Save map as , map.w3x,
now find it int he folder and rename it map.w3m.
Try openning it in warcraft 3 results?

Go to Map Description, and check the things that it says under Expansion Required. Obviously you edited/added something that requires an expansion, sometimes without knowing it.

And please, don't insult other members. Just ignore it.
