Your job is obviously to defend that Castle from upcoming waves of creeps. The Castle is located at in front of your camera view when you start the game and is selected automatically.. so you're not going to have very hard time searching for it hopefully.

You get troops and upgrades from the Castle, by pressing the buttons on the bottom left area of your UI. It's a good idea to keep them near (or between) the towers, because they give you good protection.

No really.. this is still unfinished project.. and I am only asking for your opinions about the current progress.
This is because it's easier for me to change things now, and not after I've made all 30 waves.

Known issues:
-Catapults are stupid
-Ancient Protectors are too slow at rooting
-Wolves were coded to focus on single unit. That has to be changed somehow.
-Getting +-1 gold from enemies isn't fixed yet.
-Riflemen are quite poor, I heard..

Please feed my back, or what ever you are willing to do.

PS: There might be some "test only" things left here and there. I couldn't see any, though.

This is more of like a game "Defend Your Castle" when you pick ppl then throw em and they die

but this is different, oh well. I would play it, but havent' got much time. I'll try tomorrow :)

EDIT: you spelt scrienchchot wrong. It's Screenshot. heh, everyone have problems with these. ;)

Gave it a go.

Maybe its jst me, but it seemed damn near impossible.

I would send out what little units I could afford and they would just me mutilated.

In the end, it was the towers dealnig damage, all the units did was destract the enemy for a bit.

I played it and I survived. In some point enemy units stopped coming, (9minutes or smthing) It was challenging and I ended up massing riflemans. But Im not sure if it is a good strategy, since they die so fast.
Nice little game :)

You were supposed to be kicked out of the game after all the waves. I guess few enemies were left patrolling in the spawn place.

I tried to make Riflies a bit more weak and increased their cooldown before posting this ;D

I noticed that Defend ability for Footmen and Swordsmen is not needed at all. There is simply no time to use it properly, so I am going to replace that with something niftier.

I have to do alot balancing, because as Pineapple said, the smaller units stand no chance against a group of enemies (except Riflemen, which is soon fixed).

It's not really the Towers' job to kill all the enemies, and you just lure them with 2 or 3 Riflemen/Footmen up to the hill, where all the 4 Towers attack them. I lower the Towers' damage at earlier game, and increase it perodically.

(Unprotected version will be the last one then, if someone wants to look at it)

At around 9:30 it was finally over.

Can't say I noticed any difference on the units with and without upgrades.
One level is not enough anyway.
One set of units is not enough.
The towers are just there to die. Nothing I can do with them.

The much announced Quest menu doesn't really tell much :p

Gold income: 4/3? Hm...
Income should also stop increasing once the Castle is gone.
Actually, the game should end once everything's gone...

I switch the places of the Cannon Tower and Guard Tower and make it so that the enemies attack both.

It won't be in the end. I haven't done all the levels yet.

Okay, so I am going to add more levels for them, and decrease the wood cost.

They are there to defend.

So it was too easy for you? For Pineapple it was too hard. Don't know what to do then.
You, by the way, gave me the idea of a defend game :p.. I really enjoyed your it.

There's not much other than just waiting for it to end...

Winning would be... "work in progress" I guess.
Currently, that's not even an option.

The code is there. It was just disabled somewhy :p..

I could make more enemies to come, and give the player more gold for troops. But if I spawn too many enemies at the same time, they end up between the trees at their spawn place.

Let's see what I can do.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
