(CNN) -- The death toll from a magnitude 7.6 earthquake that rocked in South and Central Asia early Saturday has risen to 351.
Officials have warned the number of people killed by the quake -- centered in Pakistan but felt in India and Afghanistan -- could reach into the thousands.
The quake, with an epicenter about 60 miles (100 kilometers) north-northeast of Islamabad, jolted areas as far as 400 miles away -- making it the most intense in the region in the last century.
