i'll be honest, i wouldnt be surprised if they delayed the beta to q4... :(

new video, part 2 of the lore series, under the lore section. if you havnt seen part 1, its talks about what happened before diablo 1, aka the sin war trilogy of the books. part 2 goes over diablo 1 lore. as well, if you are interested in the lore check out smith's lore thread which is really good.

Diablocast is out, as always in podcast section. dont want to watch it personally. once i get betas and play through it once myself i shall come back to these and watch/listen

New purgatory, "Closed Beta This Week, Resource Colors, Press In F&F Beta". speculates that closed beta will be this week. also talks about the article on the d3 site talkin bout the cube and cauldron (not in the title)

also, because of the inability for spoilerception, there are 2 spoilers for purgatory and podcasts. the first spoiler is the newest one and the second is the older archives. Didnt do it for the rest because i felt that the other sections dont have enough videos for such a thing, videos for that section are not put out often enough for it to be necessary, or for things where it isnt important to keep the newest one seperated (such as systems, if you are looking through systems you dont really need the most recent one but rather... yeah...)

Press got into the beta now, force made an announcement video, and with that i am adding a new 'Beta' section where all beta gameplays and such will go into (including this video).

the press is not sure if this beta is part of the FnF beta or if the closedbeta is starting. If its the latter FUCK YEAH. To use an underused quote:
"Hell, its about time."

if its the former, then well, the waiting game continues.

Parts 1-3 of barbarian gameplay as well demon hunter gameplay. i decided to split up the vids per char class, since itd be too muich, and non-gameplay beta videos will go in beta videos. since the vids are in chronological order, part 1 is at the bottom and part 3 is at the top for when you watch the gameplays (if you do)

are you watching the gameplay vids now? BTW Force is an idiot. I know more about D3 than he does and he makes money doing it. I seriously get mad when he says "I don't know about ____" and I can explain exactly what's up. He died 3 times to the same thing... I could have told him immediately what the arcane hydras were and why they were there and why he was dying... Sickens me.

    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats

    I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be

    Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that

    Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings

    And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that

    These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
