How do i edit starting resources for players?

Hello i just started using the map editor and i cant figure out how to change the resources for players. I want to make a map for me and my friend to play online with custom set resources, not just 500. I used the action set - player resoures to 9999, however when i use the map i dont get that number. Please help.

You must edit the Melee Initialisation trigger.
Replace the action "Give starting resources to all players" with Set player property blah.

• Player Group - Pick every Player in (All players) and do actions
  • Loop - Actions
    • Player - Set (Picked player) Gold to <your value here>
    • Player - Set (Picked player) Lumber to <your value here>

is there any way for me to also change food limit? ive tried doing the same with player - set food cap to xxx, but that doesnt work.

in the trigger, where you put the starting gold and starting lumber, there is an option for food cap.

Go to Advanced (in the menus) -> Gameplay Constants -> Check "Use custom gameplay constants" -> Food limit
Then change it your wishes
