"MAP FILE TOO BIG ERROR'' but its only 8kb and i have the latest version of warcraft3: 1.26a
and i did that fix with wc3 fixer [warcraftIII/diabloII<-

but it doesnt seem to open

an odd thing is that at playtest all seem to work perfectly fine

also i need to tell you that use in my map several custom models and portraits
i dont know maybe you people find the problem

i can easily upload the map if you want i dont care about credits and staff..

let me know..

You sure its not 8mb's? Bcos that is the limit.

8kb is a fairly empty map with no custom models. It should not have that error.

Show a screenshot of your Import Manager?
Protect the map and then upload it here, so that we can test it? (May be an internal error with your w3 or pc)

EDIT: Also, when does it show the error? When you attempt to host it, or after loading has completed and the game should begin?

i guess you re right my bad sorry for thread..the map its 8 mb i was so sure it wasnt... anyway

is there a way to have a map over 8mb?

Erm I heard that it can be hosted in Single Player as more than 8mb (but I may be wrong on that)
I know that online games and LAN games have to be less than 8mb, that's fairly unavoidable. Try reduce your map size by using less custom models, icons and other forms of decorations that aren't essential to your game.

A short answer to your question, is no. Not in any simple method atleast.
