[Spell] phonix fire based spell help

hello!
i try to do a spell like the attack system in the map battle tanks, like every 2 sec some projectiles will come out from the unit and sktrikes a number of close units. but... i want the spell to be a not passive spell, you will have to cast it. do you know how to do that?

Try Fan of Knives with 1 target?

If you want to get more complicated, create a dummy spell, that, when cast, gives the caster a "real" ability based off of phoenix fire for X amount of time, then removes it.

Maybe if u base the spell on cluster rockets from tiker would be quite easier

hmmm i think tinker rockets only exists in dota.. the fan of knife idea was good but... it could no target units that was hidden in fog of war..
