This is the number one thing that pisses me off about the music industry. You don't need to play good (any) music. You can throw a bass loop some drum pattern and fake guitar together. That's techno though, I like techno. The people making the music don't get payed that much, it's the person that stands there and looks pretty. They don't even need to sing ever hear of a program called auto-tune?

It doesn't even need to the Fake/T-Pain sounding effect. You can just use pitch correction, and I think that's cheating, just like lip syncing. Real bands shouldn't make there good in post production, they should make it good when they record it.

Music is an auditory medium. You shouldn't need to have perfect skin, or a shaped body or even great dental hygiene. I listen to you with my ear buds, I don't care how the singer/band looks. People need to understand this. It's the same way trying to put a song into a book is retarded. You can't listen to text, you can't watch music (Waveforms do not count). It seems as if people have forgotten this.

If you want to look at someone buy a god dammed poster. If you want to listen to someone, care about their music, not their face.

This is why mass media is stupid.

People LIKE her. Ok? Yes, its true. And what does that mean? It means that she makes good music (im not sure what the definition of 'good' is. because people have their opinions, no matter what it is) and. A person has to respect her for that. You can hate every fiber of her being, but you cant deny the fact that people like her, and that she is young.

music isnt just about the actual music, all the packaging around music is important too, actually its probably the most important one.
Auto tune is a technology, i use it, i dont use it to actually tune of voice to the proper note but i use it for its effects when sung into.

What i think is, when will you realize the trend of music today, and the technology its using. Because your stuck in the past, and music today aint what it was 30 years ago. Theres nothing wrong with autotune, theres nothing wrong with being cute, but im pretty sure either T-Pain or Taylor swift have more musical talent than you will ever have.
