Did you forget when Christ prayed for the cup to pass him if God so willed it, yet it was God's will to have Christ die on the cross (the cup)? This is the example pastors use to tell believers that God has a plan, and despite our most sincere prayers, God's will is strong. But does this mean we should allow people to die because we decide it's God's will? No, the mere thought is ridiculous. All life is precious. The Bible doesn't condemn the use of medicine.
