Well now that makes sense!

I'll probably upload some WebGL / HTML5 canvas stuff later this week. Anything specific you guys want me to try (keyword: try)?

I just made the most basic webpage ever. Someone pull it :p

EDIT: I just realized that we are going to need several videos at some point. Can anyone make them? Should they be the same, or maybe a tutorial on how to achieve the effect they boast? IMO it's best to decide now, that way we avoid conflicts later.

Maybe if each person decides what they will work on and post it here first.

That way, we only have to check the thread to see if our idea is already being done. It will avoid multiple similar demos.

Yeah. I will be working on a small snake type game for some time. ( Implementing keypressses and canvas )

EDIT:
Also, we should probably have a centralized header and footer file, no? To avoid inconsistency.

That might be a good idea, but for some of the projects, it'll likely just be a waste of screen space.

Basicly, you put the width and height of the desired image into the url and it gives you a kitteh picture with the correct dimensions. It's awesome and cute.

After some computer troubles such as my ancient computer dying and getting it replaced with a used comptuer for free, the problem now is I stil lcan't get Git to work on my newer computer. I think I am using the wrong wizard or something. :S

@GetTriggerUnit - That is just ridiculous in cuteness.

As for the pages overall design, I think it should be as simplistic as possible, so we can feature other things. Though I think we will try to use CSS3 for Round Corner and Gradient effects. However I really need to know what you guys will want with some of your systems design wise so we can prepare some kind of space on the layout for them.

This is a casual project though, so you don't need to give me a layout ASAP, but please be thinking about it.

    How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?

    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
