I liked this and though I would share it - what are your opinions on powerpoint?

Eh, it's not so much the tool as the person.
Not that I'm a fan of PowerPoint, but I've used it a lot for school because that's as much effort as I will care to put in (I lie to myself, I've actually gone overboard at times and made video presentations).
BUT, if you know how to use even boring tools such as PowerPoint, it can still be interesting. It's not what you use, it's how you use it. People are using like Prezi now or whatever, but I can still make my presentations interesting using the same concepts of having design on the slides, images with little text, (and maybe a few animations to spin and move the pictures around 1000 times).

I find powerpoints to be incredibly boring. I prefer listening to the person, so the less it is used, the better!

It's not cruel at all. Just makes you wanted to sleep and actually get you to do some more push-ups. It's for the benefit of your body.

I do push ups to do push ups. I don't need to be bored to death by a presentation for that.

I also run 3 times a week because I want to, not because of powerpoint.

Thus, it is cruel. And unusual.
