I think Solu's biggest issue is just what it is. A child being raped to death is, indeed, a gruesome image. Whether it was consensual (though I can't imagine a child getting fucked so hard that they kept screaming 'fuck me!') or not, little kids getting fucked and little kids getting killed and little kids getting fucked 'til they're killed is one of those things that can make people feel shitty inside. Sure, people get raped all the time, children get killed all the time, and children probably get raped all the time, but children raped to death? I know I sure don't hear about that happening like... ever, really, except for now. So I'd say his outrage at the subject is justified, although I'm one of the ones sitting here literally laughing out loud as I read the thread over.
Also, I doubt anyone would have made light of the situation if they were personally involved with it. That may not be any sort of justification in your eyes, but we all practice tact in our daily lives for regular situations, and this one really isn't much different for the average person.
