Also, I feel it's getting again darker, I will lighten it up to match the original.

EDIT: Someone saved it lossy... I'll try to find the last one loss-less and fix it.

Later edit: It was saved really early as lossy, but I can't figure it out if I had fixed it that time or if it was saved lossy after that fixing. Anyway, the artefacts are in the background, not sure if they are in the squares as well, I can't see it.

Even later edit: I have compiled a list with all the users that have contributed and I plan on making a GIF out of them at the end (probably also retouch the final image to remove any JPG artifacts there'll be).

Yeah well here is mine.
I dont know if it is right format or what not. But I downloaded the picture Purge attached. Anyway I also found a BMP file later on which I thought was the right version. But I would not let me upload it.

Nice! It looks awesome! Can't believe you were patient enough to compile that. Its funny how the lighting occasionally changes.

I actually enjoy from time to time to do repetitive work. It kind of relaxes me, not sure why. Wait till you see the list of contributions, in which I cut every small part a user added xD.

And yes, phyrex1an actually posted a reason for the lightning changes. Contributors used different editors, which changed the mode of the image (RGB24 / etc.) which in turn caused the shift in lightning. It's actually a shift in contrast and hue as well, as you can't fix it by just changing the lightning. The current image is different from the original one in color values and I couldn't fix it, unfortunately.

I regret that its low quality, but I can't avoid that because of the GIF format...

The premise is simple, each member draws a small section of a larger image and eventualy we will have a large image made by many people.

[*] Each square is 50 x 50 pixels;
[*] No two adjacent squares can be made by the same person (horizontaly, vertically or diagonally);
[*] An attempt must be made to keep the image flowing;
[*] The final image will be 502 x 502 pixels (10 blocks by 10 blocks plus a 1px border);
[*] Do NOT go over someone else's square or edit anyone else's work. You may edit a square you've made but only for minor fixes. The only exception to this rule is to edit an obvious mistake out of someone's square (making their square too small, overlapping another square slightly, etc).

[*] You can use any program you like, but I'd recomment MSPaint, it's a simple program that anyone can use and suprisingly versatile;
[*] Anyone can join! Even if you have no artistic skills then come and have a go. It is a 50x50 square. The advantages of this is that, if you don't like how it turns out, someone else can build on the square next to it and turn your mess into part of something great;
[*] When saving your file, save it as a PNG file, that way you keep ALL of the quality and the colours and lines aren't blurred or distorted. Some image hosting sites seem to convert BMPs into JPEGs, if this happens then use [URL]http://imageshack.us[/URL] instead. I use tinypic.com, but whatever floats your boat.

When the entire grid is completed I will try to remove any artifacts caused by lossy file types and I will also make a GIF with uniform lightning, using only the squares in the final image.
