Been quite upset after realiing my nuon games had been lost in Harvey. Could not believe how much the price of some these things has gone up. I thinkI paid like 7 bucks each for some of these a few years ago. Picked up Space invaders xl, Merlin racing, Frefall 3050 and ballistic off ebay. Been watching the ebay auction, did not really wanna pay that much, but just not a lot ofthe games out there anymore. I paid like 235 for them. I need Tempest 3000 back now. Was bidding on Next Tetris the other day, I kinda gave up thinking ot was gonna go for more than it did. I went to work and realized it only went for like 125, was a little irritated I did not bid thAT. Really thought it was gonna go over 200. I was not gonna buy the 4 games but wife was gonna buy me the NIB dvdn 501 that is on ebay right now and I told her I would rather have the games.

I am pretty sure besides the Konix the NUON is the rarest system out there. Expect to pay a premium for anything and the odds of finding in the wild are slim to none.

understood. I have never found anything in the wild at all except for a sd2300 dvd player I found right before the flood. The games had been getting more expensive but seem to have made a jump in the last year or so. Tempest did not used to be that hard to find and I would not have epected to have to pay a lot for it. Not gonna pay for a sealed game, will be patient and wait and enjoy my jaguar version until then :)

I think I have a Tempest 3k in the collection my NUON is toast make me an offer. I actually never did really like the NUON version of Tempest I thought it was too washed out on the graphics and all the lightshow blurred out the enemies.

This is why I like to help people find these games. I like to see people enjoying the Nuon.

    How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?

    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
