Classroom: "General" GUI Functions

Well, to kick off the whole Classroom thing, I thought I'd go ahead and improve awareness of the "General" functions in GUI.

Lesson 1:
· Do Nothing
· Comment
· Custom Script

Lesson 2:
· Wait
· Wait (Game Time)
· Wait for Condition
· Wait for Sound

Lesson 3:
· Set Variable

Lesson 4:
· If / Then / Else -> "" (Multiple Functions)
· Skip Remaining Actions

Lesson 5:
· For Each Integer A / B, Do Action -> (Multiple Actions)
· For Each Integer Variable, Do Action



I will, every-other day that this lesson is active, provide a guide on why it's useful, how to use it, and why to use it. I will also assign solo-work (Homework) to be done. The "Homework" and other work will be graded by a rubric. Homework will not have a due-date, so I will grade and comment on anything posted.

As you can see, some lessons contain several functions to be taught. I've grouped them like that for several reasons; some of them are often used together and can be used well to compliment each other, while some are just very similar.

Do you give homwork out fridays-sunday? And what is the time limite of this. If we do good do we get rep. If the grades are good?

It looks like this will go on for five days; one lesson per day. It will initiate Friday (April 20), ending on Tuesday next week.
Yes, I will give +Rep for turning in homework, based on an effort grade. On the other hand, the feedback that I give you should be far more important than that.
Are you going to sign up?

well that's a interesting idea of making a class, i liked it :D
i got nothing to do with it though (i can join like andrew though :p)

here some things u forgot to add inside ur material:
- Picking (Players/Units)
- Leak Removal (pretty important thing to know)

lol why do u need to test urself?
these things u do on a daily work in the WE without having any problems or issues also u are very good in jass which pretty much gives u higher level then what he teaches here.
but if u wanna join for ur own fun i don't mind u can do it i won't stop u :p.
but if u fail u will be Grounded for a month :D

The material being presented is everything found under the "General" tab in the GUI list. I will cover leak removal, as it's part of Custom Script, but Picking has nothing to do with it :)

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
