Its Over!

The Contest has been Ended!

Ill be judging the poems with great care. Just wait and see
Ill get em in as fast as possible with as much thought crammed in!!!

He didn't state he was going to be a judge, but he hasn't stated he won't be. He's rarely ever on anymore, it seems, so I'm not 100% sure what's going on. If worse comes to worse, I'll remove myself from the contest and judge secondary... I'd rather not, though.

I'll be a judge in contests if people want me to be. But they'd probably have to PM about it.

I would prefer 2 judges at least. One judge puts way too much pressure and bias on that one person. Anyone who loses can easily point a finger at the single judge and claim bias.

Technically, you can do the same thing with two judges, especially something done over time and over the internet... But it's a bit harder to prove. With one judge, time and the internet excuse, the only proof ya need is an accusation.

It's like a fire to throw gasoline on. And everyone's holding another match...

So yeah. Those are my thoughts on that, as deemed by the almighty Seth Heed my words, or perish by my hand.

Actually, it's really not up to Monsterous. Conan's head mod of the Writer's Corner, therefore... If he wants to step in, he can.

I agree with both points, I mean yes conan is head mod of the section and can do as he pleases, but from my time on TH I have come to know the mods and admins as nice people lol. I am sure unless it was taking like 2 months for Monsterous to grade, conan wouldn't step in without asking XD

There were a few amazing poems here, i was pretty confident when I first submitted, but there are some people who are going to be challenging. I see 3 poems that are in the same league, well, one, in my opinion, is a little behind, =)

Update!

After stupidly posting in the wrong damn Poetry Contest :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I have an update on the judging!

Ive had a VERY BAD cold that set me back, but i have started judging two days ago. The remiaining poems to do are Seth Edgar Cross and New_U.S.

The results will be in by late tomorrow.

apart from Originality. I dont completely understand it as much as i could and i fear i may get it wrong. So you can either...

1. Tell me how to judge it.
2. Leave it out.
3. Explain it.
