In a way yes. Although to be more precise it's where you can't continue writing a selected piece due to some reasons.

Yeah, writer's block is when your mind just sort of draws up a blank when you sit down and try to write, and you're unable to continue your piece. It's a real pain that tends to plague nearly, if not every, writer.

K, not that you don't get it already but it is plainly a writing block just like it implies though I understand the confusion. Note: not the kind made of wood, but rather a "block"age in your writing, in your ability to continue. ;) I don't experience this btw, something about the way I'm programmed.

So I got a question then pertaining to this, what is the opposite of writers block, probably nothing huh?

Writers block is a psychological conditon that exist when the author inhales excessive amounts of smoke generated by the thermal combustion of THC saturated nugs of biomass with the intent of elevating cognative thought to the limits of ones creativity in order to develop a satisfying composition, and then failing due ones pre-occupation, euphoria, and complete lack of interest.

Is it possible to have a drawers block as well?
I'm used to draw stickmen killing eachother on every paper I get in my hands, but I have failed to draw any new painfull death lately.

Really? 'Cuz I just smoked a fat blunt and a jay and I've started writing a new story, so in this case... THC FTW.

I just wanted to say that I'm glad to hear that there's someone else that does that kinda shit, too. Honestly, I think it's just a phase... at some point during my senior year in high school, I just kind of stopped doing it because it didn't mean the same to me as it had before. I dunno, though, I'm not sure if there is a drawer's block, 'cuz those two parts of your mind work in very different ways, as similar as the two things may seem.

It's possible to have anything-block. It can just me a case where you suddenly can't do it. Like sometimes on tests or something and you don't know what to do suddenly even after you've studied and stuff (or maybe you just forgot) lol.

Me too. I had this phase in eighth grade. I made really violent flip books. I am a gifted artist too so they were actually quite rock'n'. I wish I could somehow scan them on the computer but that would destroy them. Lol, maybe I can film them as I flip through them. My friends were also into this at around the same time and then we just grew out of it. I also did this on hypercard, but grew out of that as well. As far as drawing blocks go, I'm sure you can experience an impasse in anything one strives to complete. We are not perfect machines made to endlessly complete task put before us.

Oh shit, I started making flip books in 8th grade, too! But again, they were stick-figure flip books, not some wondrous artistic dealio, so I guess you've got me beat. I like you though, Father Yetti. I feel like you're a good man.

Ah, but they dont have to be artistic wonders to be good. I personally draw stickman not because they look so awesome (they dont, stripes and dots eh), but because they have something charming...especialy when dying.:D

How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?
  • The Helper The Helper:
The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
