I Will host a few peoples sites for free because i just bought webhosting.


The only thing i ask is to let me put 1 ad on your site , anwhere you would want to put it.

I have PHP , MySQL pretty much anything if you need it.


Also i will only host you if you have an active community.

Just post back if you are interested


THIS IS NOT A WEBHOSTING SERVICE , I AM JUST GOING TO HOST A SITE FOR YOU.

It's not really safe to put your ad on sombodies site. They could be making a site that does not agree with GoogleAdsense's ToA and your screwed. But there is no such thing as "unlimited". You can't argue with that. If where ever you bought your hosting said you have "unlimited" then they are just over-selling most likely. You can test my theory by uploading 20 copies of world of warcraft and watch as they ask you to "upgrade" or ask you to "cancel account" or just cancel your account for you.

For free hosting you should require at least 3 google ads to pay for it. Otherwise your model will not work for the long term and any sites that get with you will just be dust when you bite it.

Especially if you ask for 'active' communities.

Depends on how 'unlimited' your hosting is, it could turn out not as wanted D=

Well OFC im going to check the site and make sure its safe and stuff , this isnt a free webhost service , i just have plenty of room and would like to host few other peoples sites , nothing big.

Then title and first post is very misleading.
You should specify more, else you will have angry people asking where their pr0n site went.

How can you want nothing big, when you are asking for a active community? Its obviously going to be big and take up more room. Unless Active you mean 5 guys talking to each other year round.

bah, Unlimited... Last time that happened to me I got an email saying to cut back on uploading. What a joke.

    Actually I was just playing with having some kind of mention of the food forum and recipes on the main page to test and see if it would engage some of those people to post something. It is just weird to get so much traffic and no engagement

    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
