Glad you liked it Vestras :)

What makes a icon passive?

black boarders. but if you look at blizzard icons you will also see that they fade in a little.

I usually just copy this icon over the the btn icon i've made. that is what i used to make the passive icon in my previous post.

wow i really like the second one (and not too much impresses me). I might just have to steal it. The first one doesn't look that great to me though. GJ on the shield!

Its time for some information payback.

I made my icons, but i realized that some of their "color tones" are missing, i know that BNT(icon name) stands for the regular one and DISBNT(icon name) might stand for some passive setting? plz someone post all prefixes

BTN (Standard)
DISBTN (Standard -> When in "Pause mode")

PAS (Passive)
DISPAS (Passive -> When in "Pause mode")

ATC (Active)
DISATC (Active -> When in "Pause mode")

Only ones I think you need to know of :)

BTN border is a normal border you can copy from any icon.
DIS border is usually blade fade edges, and 50% darker.
PAS usually is same as DIS except its not 50% darker, but still with the dark fade edges.
ATC has a special yellow corner border. (You can copy it from another icon)

Hope I helped!

thnx for the additional info, but... In the hero learn ability window when gaining a lvl, if no more lvls are available my ability turns green. Happens the same thing when opening the Game Menu.

Why not use this one?

Well you probably typed something wrong, or forgot an icon ;).
What type of abiltiy is it? Post the paths to the icons in the import manager and ill see :)

Game menu = "Pause", as I wrote above :)

Ok. But, what's the difference between BTN and PAS or ATC, i can create a BTN icon with dark borders and still apply it to a passive ability

+rep for the info/img

BTN = Button. Meaning a normal "Use ability" that costs mana, and the player use himself.
PAS = Passive. Vampiric aura, the user dont do anything, he just put a skillpoint in it, and gains a buff.
ATC = Have the possibility for a right-click, leaving it on ATC (Auto attack).

Hope this helped abit :)

Yeah, i understad the difference between Passive/Active/Autocasts. The thing is, why separating em? you can create a icon with autocast border and add the BTN prefix, import it, and use it with no problem at all.

Good News! I came up with the answer to this problem

Bad News! the answer sucks!!

You must manually set the path to each icon from "w3imported\BTNIconName" to "ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNIconName" or "ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\DISBTNIconName" according to the needs... Also i found out that if the name of the icon is too long it just Wont Work and if those paths are not correct NEITHER

Not sure I understand what you are saying, but those paths are the correct paths. And work fine for me :)

well you could import passive icons with btn boarders but the passive path is good if you also want to import a btn icon becouse then you won't need to change the name of the icon.
