Well it seems to work eventually and then continues working, but every time i try to start it up it takes a few tries. I'll look into a replacement drive for the future. I'm going to be using the nuon VLM pretty consistently, don't want it t burn out.

I just ordered a nuon dvd player from ebay. Everything seems to be in working order including the remote I bought separately. But the dvd player will not load discs. It is stuck on the loading screen indefinitely for everything i put in the disc drive. Any clue what this could be and any clue...
