    Depending on the unit, a solution would be to preplace the unit in the map, after a second of game time hide the unit, and when the unit need to be created just unhide it. That way you can use your unit within range event.. just one possibility, another would be to create a trigger in jass.

    Agreed, those are not disabled icons. they are the normal ones. You need disabled counterparts for these icons. Firstly you need to rename your prefix. eg. DISBTNfirstaid should become BTNfirstaid. Next you need a disabled icon counterpart. If you have photoshop you can darken the images, remove...

    Tried that, doesn't show up in game. Using Lightning Bolt Base model file. Unless it doesn't work when you create the special effect at a random point in a region??

    Okay, so i was wondering if it's possible to spawn a cinematic prop such as a lightning bolt during game. I don't want to create an item with my cinematic effect as the model file as i fear that would interfere with my recipe item triggers, and i don't wish to do the same with units as i fear it...
