Honestly, I don't know what it was, but I definitely need it. Apparently it's a program that somehow manages to host a game without actually being in it. Looked around on the magic that is Google, came up with nothing, which isn't surprising since I don't have a program name nor a creator.
Any...
I've always been s huge fan of this tool, and just realized today that 3.1 was out. I expect that this one will be just as useful as the one before.
Great job on a project well done.
First off, there's no way -.06 anything is going to give you 60% damage reduction - that's -6%...
Mana shield sounds like it's your best bet - give that a shot.
I wouldn't try using Defend, because that only affects ranged attacks.
I'm looking at Mana Shield (Neutral Hostile) right now and it...
OK - an interesting solution has worked - and I still have no idea why. Apparently by creating a new unit group and assigning units to be added to it, the whole thing works. Why, I have no idea. All that matters is that, for now, I have a solution.
If you want to pause the game - which to me means ending leaderboards show up, players can discuss the game, etc. you have to make sure that there isn't any kind of Player - Defeat player message anywhere in the map.
My guess is that you have something like
when unit dies - end game
Instead...
For wood it's as simple as setting the player's total lumber equal to the number of minutes, defined in an integer variable updated as described above. Personally, I would much rather have a text-based timer, such as the title of a leaderboard.
I'm not sure I see how this is normal - an aura is supposed to be active all the time. If he's saying that occasionally the affected unit doesn't get the damage increase, doesn't that indicate that there's a problem?
OK, I've been working on this map for almost a year, and this is by far the single most confusing thing I've ever seen. Ever.
It goes something like this:
- The map is played like Footmen vs Grunts, where players can use a text-based system of commands to move units about the battlefield...
It should tell you somewhere why you cannot open it in RoC. I have to run off, but it's somewhere in Options I think where it will tell you all the reasons it's ...oh wait...that's for why it's not a Melee map.
I'm pretty sure it's somewhere though.
Excellent title. If it wasn't for that thing I wouldn't know exactly what was wrong! Keep up the good work! :banghead:;)
As he said, .w3m is the format used by RoC maps, and .w3x is used by Frozen Throne.
I heard something about buildings in there....if you don't want the buildings on start...
There's a better way to do the explosion.
