hi trigger_happy i had a question about your Thread: MapGuard - Map Protection
i had a worldedit error pop up when i try to load my map in the wc3editor after unlocking it
"this application has encountered a critical error: Not enough storage space available to process this command.
    program: c:\program files\warcraft iii\worldedit.exe
Object: [email protected]@" not sure if you can help me, but if you can thanks :). also this was a wc3 roc map not a tft so im not sure if that makes a diff.
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'trigger'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in [path]/includes/class_postbit.php(265) : eval()'d code on line 4

I keep getting that on BlizzVault!

    hi triggerhappy.

recently got to play your final fantasy map for warcraft again. it is a great map, but i have never gotten too far - the loading codes always messed with me. hope the latest version will work on this :D

anyway, i have a few questions, if you do not mind:
1 - what is the level you must reach to master a job? how do i know i already mastered a job?
2 - what happens, if you lose the job level item (i.e. thief lvl 1, giving the steal ability)? can you retrieve it somehow, or is it permanently missable?
3 - is there a difference if i play the game on battle net or local area network? would it corrupt my save code if i tried to load a character i have leveled on battle net before?
4 - your competition map, the final fantasy epic rpg (the one with the ff tactics features - chemist, squire, etc) is also among my favourites, but i can not find a playable version these days. do you happen to have a contact/link for me?

    thanks a lot!

    regs,
    lupus

Hey Blizzvault isn't work. Did you kill it or change the domain name?
It seemed that you didn't even read it, after complaining that Romek was brief.

    I found that disappointing.

Hey Tom I am thinking about adding a Gaming News forum do you think that would be too much?
  • The Helper The Helper:
I can probably get all the gaming content out of the Archives and into the new forum in about a week there are only 22 pages of them
  • Ghan Ghan:
ACP -> Forums -> Batch Update Threads
  • Ghan Ghan:
Search for threads with the Gaming prefix.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I know mass moves are the preferred method but I prefer to go through each post and make sure all the links work and everything is good with the articles since some are quite dated

When you're moving stuff around, are you specifying a time for the redirect so it expires, or are you letting the redirects remain forever?
  • The Helper The Helper:
    Forever
  • The Helper The Helper:
They are 95 percent in the Archive forum
  • The Helper The Helper:
    is that problematic?
  • Ghan Ghan:
No, shouldn't be. I was just thinking about the implications as far as search engines if the redirect were to disappear at some point.
  • The Helper The Helper:
that is why I kept it
  • The Helper The Helper:
You know about the notpron thing Ghan?
  • The Helper The Helper:
the bots like the evening time the online statistics of the forum in no way represent the actual people on the site lol
  • Ghan Ghan:
I know the notpron thread is our most popular one.
  • Ghan Ghan:
But I don't know anything about the game itself.
  • Wizard Wizard:
    Oh hi.
