I fervently hope there'll be as many tutorials for the SC2 editor as there was (and still is) for the WC3 editor, and I hope they cover a broad range of things... Such as mapping tips & techniques, beautifying maps, and cinematic creation...
In this online mode, if I'm playing the campaign or even a skirmish against the CPU, and for whatever reason the internet connection is lost, what happens? Am I booted out of the game? I boycotted Ubisoft and Settlers 7 for this always connected crap, and I was fervently hoping Blizzard...
I've read elsewhere that you must have an active internet conenction to play the single player... Whereas prior I had read that you only needed to be online for activation, but could play the SP campaign and even skirmishes against the CPU offline?
So which is it?
I care because developer resources have to be allocated to it. It's not just magically connected, they have to code for it. Code which could have been allocated for something that was/is actually useful...
This seems to be an increasing trend with games, and not only PC game either... I think it's utterly stupid, but then I think FB itself is utterly stupid as well.
Once upon a time, not too horribly long ago, but longer than a couple of weeks, I saw a posting here that had a whole list of Anime models with links. Naruto, Bleach, etc... At the time I wasn't too interested, so didn't bookmark it or anything. Several weeks later I was thinking I did want...
Is your response for a totally different message altogether? Because it doesn't seem to have anything to do at all with my posting... "Battle Campaing" thing? What? Move a unit to another area? Huh? I already know how to move units around... This has got to be a mis-post...
Typcially, in any cinematic I do I would use Move To a region and just let the units whack away at each other. However, this makes it difficult to time it out properly and doesn't allow for very much control over the battle. So are there any good tutorials at controlling a battle cinematic...
I suppose I need to find and re-read alot of tutorials and documentation then, because I don't recall having to do this before... Either that or it was such an automatic thing I did, I never gave it any real thought...
thanx... I had hoped using the WorldEditor was like riding a bike, you...
It was a non-melee map, and I removed the initialization trigger altogether... Anything else I might've done or not done?
BTW, it was a pretty empty map with 1 custom character (Red Player), and 4 footmen (Blue player) and a red starting area/object...
