I have got a idea for displaying combat log/events in multiboard.Like this :

-Nerzhul Begin channeling Fireball
-Troll Warrior damages nerzhul for 6 (physical)
-Nerzhul damages Troll Warrior for 17 (Fire)
-Troll Warrior miss Nerzhul
etc...
But I'd like to know what u guys think of it since multiboards take space.
Should I use it?Or normal floating texts?

since there is no real point to that people will just close the multiboard so they see what is happening instead of a thing telling them what is happening

I think that is a really cool idea. It would be exceptionally useful on a multi-team map that had fog of war.

The idea certainly is cool, but I would go with floating text. It's just more practical.

You can change this now in User CP.

Floating Text can glitch if not done correctly. In one of my maps, I set the floating text to a variable the remove it 0.05 seconds later. The problem is when multiple units attack within 1 second, it only removes one of the floating texts, even when I set them to individual variables (Not arrays).

The floating text, if you can get it too work, would be the better way to go, but it would also be cool to have a combat log of some type just for the 'Cos I can' factor.

I thought you can set the Floating Text's age?
Works like Expiration Time.
