[Got Casted] Mass Planetary Fortress Strat (2v2)

I'm a Zerg player, but I do random in team games with my friend in real life cause I get to practice, XD

Well I got Terran, and my Terran play is Bronze level, so I made Mass Planetary Fortress cause you know I was bored, and I thought okay, why not. Just watch the replay please? :D

Tell me what you think about my attempt at a very noob strategy XD I got harassed by Colossi so much and lost Banshees at attempts to kill them.

I sent them to a couple of the commentators, and I don't think any of them thought I was serious when I put "Mass Planetary Fortress"

notes:

1. the barracks/factory don't have room for a tech lab/reactor (edit: seems like you never made any units from them anyways so.. w/e)
2. you should have attacked with the banshees as soon as you won the encounter with them, before they have time to get any AA up
3. no anti-invis? (to kill their observers with)

if you really want to win via a planetary fortress, this is what you do (on a small map) - get a refinery asap, then build an engineering bay, load 5 workers into your base, lift off your main base, land near enemy, micro your workers like an expert player while upgrading to a PF (to distract them/prevent them from killing your base with their workers), and then watch them rage quit - then proceed to steal their base

this does not work vs zerg (creep = can't land)

if this is a 2v2, make sure your ally comes with units (as if they were rushing) to help you defend vs the 2nd player, as you will usually be very close to their base with your own after this encounter

Thanks for the feedback XD, yes I sent this to all the commentators I know, I hope they take a look at this :D

i think your can see yourself, or tell from the comments of the moderators, that your strategy was pretty awful. the colossi are easy to kill with vikings as you saw the colossi of your teammate go down one after one when purple attacked. by the way, siege tanks wouldnt have been a bad idea either in that situation.

do you really think you are serious? that whole match was a joke when you listen what the moderators say.
it was indeed a funny video, i really can say i rofled half to death when watching it.
but you should really start building some UNITS, as the moderators said also, if purple and teal wouldnt have been even half as unexperienced they would just have overran you and your mate. your start wasnt all that bad but from there ít went worse and worse every minute.

Definitely, siege tanks would have been really nice, I agree. But my Terran play is Copper, and it's not like my Zerg play, where I'm Plat. But anyway lol, I was having too much fun with the PFs.

Yes, I got vikings very late on, cause I thought you know what, if he only has 1 colossi at a time, then 2, why bother? Then I saw he got like 5, so I got more vikings then.

I mean, I don't think they actually believed that I did a "Mass Planetary Fortress", anyway thanks so much for pointing that out, I don't think I plan on improving it, I wanna stay Zerg, if I play Terran too much, and start winning, I might like it @_@ :O

Really! You actully got me to watch this...other people actually watched this...and wth someone actually did commentary for this!!!! Does that commentator even know what gosu means? Funny stuff at least.

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
