US Police

Does anyone else not seriously think WTF? when seeing pictures like these of US Cops...at a PROTEST? People are leaving their houses in anguish over the government and they're being faced with this. Wtf kind of democracy is that? I don't see how all of America hasn't realized how ridiculous this is yet. Doesn't matter what political party you're in, when you see shit like this being done to your own fellow citizens, human beings, it should infuriate and scare the shit out of you.

Ahh... this looks like the thread for me. Police forces are the first line of defense in the event of a revolution (which is why we didn't have one until the late 1800's: no one wanted a standing military). Considering no one is going to be revolting anytime soon as we're not allowed to have weapons that remotely match theirs, they have to find something to do. Might as well beat up the nice protesters so as to send a message to people like me.

Oakland is a culture of people who hate the police. Police are so brainwashed in fear of being attacked that they are obviously not fit to handle the situation they are presented with here because they mistake it for being hostile. Big cities in general have scared police and scared police makes for rash police.

Would you be a police officer in Oakland? Do you think you will do a better job? You can do something about it. You are a citizen too, just like police officers are. Only you probably aren't risking your life every day which makes you less understanding of the position they are in.

I would wish for the police officers to be like the ones in Hot Fuzz.

And whenever I see police officers armored to the toe, I just watch them afar with my 10" telescope.

Around here police officers harrass refugees and other's with different skin color than white.
They also protect only the rich. Let us poor suffer.

I love how you guys act surprised when you see police brutality and violation of civil rights. You act like
its something new.

But really, all that anyone ever does is stand on the sidelines and criticize. "Oh look at that, that just isn't right."
