Is this possible? Currently running Windows 7, using some plantronics headphones, and I'm finding myself constantly sitting at 0/100 volume, and beyond that also reducing the volume of most games to 10-20%.
Even then, some things just remain too loud, especially in cases where I can't control the volume of the application, for example many flash animations.
What I'd like to do, is change the system so that the current volume level is equivalent to ~80%, allowing me to use the volume slider (which I can control from my headphones) to actually control volume, and making it less necessary to always have to turn the volume down on every game I play or video I watch.
I've tried to look up a way to do this, but have so far been stumped, probably more because I don't know what to look for rather than there not being an actual solution.
