Button Question

Hello there,

I created a few buttons with the icon 'question mark', this buttons are passives
How do I create the 'borders' in the button just like the 'train marine' and 'build supply depot' having?

Is there anyone left on this forum btw?

What kind of buttons did you create? Are these buttons for abilities and stuff on your command card in the bottom right corner or are they created by triggers as dialog buttons?

If you're doing command card buttons and your borders are not showing up, it's possibly because you're using a custom picture that is non-transparent and therefore blocks the border. The solution is to make the background of the image transparent.

And no, there's no one left. The people replying to your posts are ghosts ;)

yes I knew it was about transparent and non-transparent I can 'check' boxes but I don't know where to find this

so can you tell me where I can find this option? I searched for the word 'transparent' and nothing shown up

It's not within the editor. I'm assuming you're using a custom image? You have to open the button icon in an editor like GIMP and make the background transparent. I'm not really good enough to guide you with that, but you should be able to find a guide for it if you google.

Well, I'm lurking from time to time, and I am considering returning to the sc2 modding scene, but I'm very busy with both a full time education and a job in the weekends. Combine that with a very active social life, then there's not much time left for doing stuff like this.

I havent even had time to fix my gaming computer, which broke down a year ago:eek:

    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
