Im making a huge epic rpg i want it to have more items therefore giveing my spawning 'units' items. Is this possible by trigger?

Ok so i want to make the spawned units in my rpg have items dropped on death.
Im just wondering if it will work with trigger

all you need to do it double click on it and edit the item drop table

Yeah i know thats for alredy placed units but what im having trouble with is Giveing it to units that are spawned by a trigger on the map.

Well i was thinking of something fast and heres what i got.

Code:
Unit - A unit Dies
(Owner of (Dying unit)) Equal to Neutral Hostile
Item - Create Tome of Experience at (Position of (Dying unit))

To do items for different units

Code:
Unit - A unit Dies
(Unit-type of (Dying unit)) Equal to Dark Troll Berserker
(Owner of (Dying unit)) Equal to Neutral Hostile
Item - Create Tome of Experience at (Position of (Dying unit))

oh he broke the rules becasue "is this possible to do" is too general titles need to be more specific and i also have the same problem in my thread if u read it but i want to give like a % chance for different items like 70% chance the unit drops cheese and 15% chance to drop +15 sword ect

Double click on your pre-placed unit, a little window should show in the middle of the screen, there should be 3 tabs some where in the little window, now go to the one that says "Items Dropped", now there should be a little menu thing where you can choose
a) None
b) Choose item table from map
c) Use custom item table

Select b), or c) i would recommend using c) because you can change the percentage to what you would want, after you have selected one then go to the right panel you should see varius things, New set, delete item, new item, delete item, edit item, go to new item and choose your item there, :). Hope i could be of any help :).

Broken he wants to know how to do that with units spawned after the game starts not with pre placed units. and sorry i cant help ya but i just wanted to inform broken of his mistake heh.

it probably did unless.. like me he wants different %'s to drop diff items

If you respawn the same unit your going to have the same table... -_-. Don't correct me.

but u cant literally respawn the only way is create unit and when you create unit it doesnt keep the table -_-

i made something incomplete (just something for u 2 base on) that might work out (didnt test it), but maybe a more experienced editor see my trye and create something MUCH better.. so here it is (at least i tryed)

Yes it is working 56k, and for the % things for an item to drop i cant get what i do is make a random. And i make custom items and put them in a seperate catagory "Charages" Level 2 so it will only spawn lvl 2 charged items. But adding some sort of trigger to make percent of an item dropping i dont know.
