Will creating a destructible (say,pathing blocker) for local player cause a crash/split?

Creating any handle to a local player will cause problems, so to answer your question, yes.

Rheias: A unit is a handle. Units always get created for local players. Many other types of handles get created for local players safely. What are you talking about Rheias? Did I missunderstand something? Units is not handles?

The Undaddy: Anyway, making a pathing blocker for one person is unsafe like Rheias says. Better to do a conditioned unit enters region located at x,y,x2,y2, and unit is owned by <certain player> of type <flyer or unit type> then move unit to x3,y3.

Either that or put up with pathing blockers for all players. [/del]:)

They don't get created for local players...

I tried to make a local unit once and I desync.

Would it be able to hide it for local player, using this function:
JASS:
native          ShowDestructable            takes destructable d, boolean flag returns nothing

Not sure though, as units cannot be hidden to local players..

Or is it possible to remove destructable only for local player? Or then change the destructables animation to death for local player.. there's not much options left here.

Since when have we been able to do so?

call ShowDestructable(d, GetLocalPlayer() == p)

But tested it, it's possible! Also removing is possible, but dunno if it safe...

You could set the scale of the destructable to 0. That way, you cannot see it, but it is still there.

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
