I am superbly delighted to have won an N501 in almost top shape on Ebay for under $20. I remember the Nuon equipped DVD players from years ago through video game magazines and word of mouth, but i had never actually seen one until now. The player came with a remote control and nothing else, I had to win a couple of auctions for a Logitech pad and suprisingly an original Samsung pad which i won just because I felt for the sake of completement the Nuon deserved to have the original pad along with it. The player already came with the latest firmware installed and everything worked perfectly out of the box, not the original retail box of course lol. Long before i got the Nuon I had saved on my computer 4 game ISO's that i downloaded through a torrent website. I was surprised to have them working perfectly without any hiccups on the Nuon. I am also very impressed with Merlin Racing and Tempest, both these games are superb. I tell ya I get a big thrill out of seeing what looks to be your standard DVD player play video games with a rather modern looking video game controller, it's impressive. Moreover, the games look to be just about on-par with first or even second generation Playstation 1 games. The Nuon could have been a contender. Anyhow my REAL purpose for posting on Nuon-Dome (wich i been coming to anonimously for the past 2 months) is to find out how can one get a hold of Nuon released games, Nuon prototypes and even unreleased games if they somehow happened to have been leaked. Ive been able to get a hold of 2 Original Nuon games at prices i feel I can afford. However, everytime I see a Nuon game for sale it has some outstanding price-tag which is probably very well deserved due to their uncommon status, I of course cant possibly afford to get a hold of them. I am very surprised that there is seemingly only about 3 Nuon releated torrents around the internet. I figured with with a community as large as this one, someone has got to have ripped the entire Nuon collection into ISO files for download. I know this is an incredibly leechous request but blasted im desperate lol. ISO collections for various defunct video game systems are available if one searches hard enough. Ive seen Philips CD-I, Amiga CD32, Atari Jaguar CD, 3DO, Sega CD, Saturn, TurboDUO and beleive it or not I once even saw a torrent with a collection of ISO's for the Memorex VIS system, one wich I am sure that probably less than half of us have even heard of. So, Im starting to think that the Nuon must have had about the impact of a 1ft rock crashing to earth from space (no impact at all) on the video game industry. So hey if anyone out there knows anything at all about why Nuon games are hard to find :banghead: or even where to find then please by all means reply. Ralph.
