I'm really glad to hear that. I feel like addition of respawns would just allow the player to weaken guards instead of slip past them like I originally intended, but it seems like some players have found unique ways to distract the guards and to kill the bosses. Ren claimed to have used a specific boss to attack the other guards. It makes me happy to hear reports of people experimenting and thinking.
Someone replied to my thread, not too long ago. He critiqued my lack of atmosphere, which I supposed is true. Yet I'd like to say that he was missing the point. When I play a game or read a book or write a story/poem, I don't always look for a portal to escape life. I may just be looking for a way to amuse myself with another problem to solve.
Good luck with your map making endeavor. I may never complete my story with the professional flair some members expect, but at least people like you enjoyed my tacky creation. That's all that matters.
Hai Jimps, I got a challenge for you.
I am to make a list of songs (rather a theme, actually) which should be played by an ochestra of 35 people. They have to 'fit' eachother, so they need ressemblance. There are ~5 people on each instrument, and included in the term 'instruments' are:
- drums,
- guitar
- bass
- keyboard
- song
- classical instruments (eg. violin)
Also there are some mouth harmonicas.
I was thinking of a rather electric theme, a mix of electronic and rock (however, a requirement is that is can't be too standard rocky), somewhat taking base in these three songs:
- Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Heads Will Roll, which would be the more 'base' song of the three,
- Tv on the Radio - Wolf Like Me, which would be the more simple song of the three,
- The Tough Alliance - Take No Heroes, which would be the complex song
Think you can give me some suggestions on songs that are related? As an example, our current theme is James Bond.
Ah yes. I too enjoy acing tests, but it's more important in college. I'm merely a high school student. Females are complicated creatures, yet they're so beautiful. It's a shame we must stop and share our time with them. Oh, what am I saying? I vigorously love the young women of this world. Right now I'm have an interest for a good Catholic humanitarian, and if I did not misread the signals, she may be interested as well. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
