I appreciate it but unless they changed something they don't support the editor. You are right about getting good support on the phone though, this has been my experience as well, thanks.
No that's fine I appreciate it, and yes I have experienced this in triggers but never in gameplay interface like this. It's just strange. I will have to keep my eye on it.
Okay what the douche, I just tried to use a cheat in my map, and its said: 'Stonemaul Warlord' the name of a custom unit I created instead of 'cheat enabled'. I went into gameplay interface and there it was for the cheat enabled, as well as a bunch of other junk I absolutely positively did not...
Well I know my map very intimately and I knew right away which ability it was but have yet to find a link between it and the occurrence. What should I be looking for?
I just had something very strange happen when testing my map out. I have basically started over on a very large project that I could not fix a bug on. I am copying unit by unit from my old map to this one until to see where I run into issues. So from the editor I clicked the test map button to...
Are there any inherit problems or issues that might arise from altering or changing a units object data versus making a new unit? Is it better to always make a new unit when you want to alter something or is it okay to just alter the original value? The only reason I ask is I tend to run into...
I don't remember where and I don't have the time to dig it up but the release date has been pushed to early 2010 I believe due to issues with the new battle.net interface. Sorry if that source was here or already posted, I just noted that this thread had not been updated concerning this.
They both are cool, Armed Citizen could use some color but not much. I dunno about that text, thought I think armed got a worse render to deal with IMHO, but maybe that's just me. There is already to much business going on with it possible making adding your own effects more difficult. I think...
Well, looks like I will start to copy and past each individual unit to a new map till I encounter the problem. This will take forever as I have hundreds of units to transfer. On another note. Is it better for any purposes not to edit the preexisting units in the editor? This seems to be a common...
I have to completely disagree about Bestbuy and their warranties, they suck and didn't even honor mine for a $500 ipod because they said the hard drive was broken...! WTF is an ipod but a hardrive?
Well thanks so much for your help Sevion, your time has been greatly appreciated. Now it appears I must return to the drawing board, which is a shame really, I had a ton of time put into this map. :(
Ace I really wanted to try this map so I downloaded it and placed it in WCIII maps folder in downloads and well, WCIII wont recognize or find the map so I can play it. Any ideas?
Okay I should have been more specific, but thanks. I want to know if I can do this without doing all. I want to move the data in batches to isolate the problem without doing one unit at a time or all for the matter.
