I'm not a modeller so making a triange-shaped "circle of power" (lol) is going to be impossible for me.

When I host games, everyone says that I'm constantly spiking in the game. I don't feel the spikes, but everyone else does. I'm on a wired connection, so there is no interference with objects and such. Also, the ethernet cable is new so I don't think there could be any problems with that...
If you're using Frozen Throne, it saves all of your maps with the "w3x" extension. However, if you're using Reign of Chaos, it saves your map as "w3m."
If you're using any modded World Editors and you only have Reign of Chaos, that may be the source of your problem.
