If you call an ambulance for treatment you don't have to go to the hospital if you aren't mentally incapable of making a decision (e.g. mechanism of injury doesn't relate to a head injury, not intoxicated, etc..).

Yeah, but all patients who request an ambulance go to the hospital just incase, since the hospital is liable once they become their patient. If there's no obvious injury or illness they will still be tested to be checked for anything internally. The only reason they wouldn't go to the hospital...

Well...yeah...but a normal rule is just an open area that is 100x100 feet, so they can safely land in a lot of areas really, and an air evac necessary unless the patient needs to be seen immediately...so a medical motorcycle is alright for people who need help fast, but they still need a normal...
