Thank for removing the PM.
Actually, I found the map in the old cache files, so I am not sure if it is in the Battle.net tab. I'll look for it.
I have read a protected map will not import into the editor so perhaps it is not protected. There is nothing however in the trigger editor. I...
Based on what I have been able to find online, since the map came into the editor sans triggers my guess would be it is protected. I don't agree with anti-map deprotection rules, but if they are the rules of the site I will look for help elsewhere.
Thanks. When I looked in the "local" location it had a correctly named file, so evidently the map generated a new bank file when I tested it. I copied the "online" one there anyway and the same error occurred. I think I'm going to need some more high powered help with this one, if anyone...
Thanks.
I was able to open the map and play it, however the map uses a bank file. I have found the bank file but the two things seem out of sync now. Any ideas how to point the map file's script to the bank file?
Thanks again.
This is always a touchy subject, but I used to be a WC3 map maker who learned a good bit of his trade by studying other maps.
Is there currently a way to open an Arcade custom map in the galaxy editor?
The methods I have seen referenced online using the s2ma_manager no longer seems to work...
This is somewhat a map making question.
In Warcraft 3 custom maps, teams were generally defined in the lobby. Taking a map most are familiar with ... dota, you could play 1v1, 2v1, 2v2, all the way up to teh maximum number of slots allowed per side. When players were placed on a given team...
In WC3 I often learned by seeing something interetsing and looking at how it was accomplished in the World editor. Am I correct that in SC2, this is not possible unless you know the author and contact him/her to send you his/her map?

In most situations a good estimate of sleep/wake cycles could be achieved thru monitoring lighting situations.
Reps are an irrelavant "score".

You are right...it's actually much more intrusive.
The price for freedom is eternal vigilence.
Agreed!
Perhaps you like the idea of someone knowing what show you are watching 24/7, how often you eat out (stove not being used), what your sleep/wake cycles are, etc. I'd prefer my...
Big Brother looms
If you or anyone you know is in an area where BPL (Broadbnd over Power Lines) is being proposed, write your congressman and oppose it.
BPL is a bad idea technically and ethically. Technically, BPL is well known to cause so much interference on the radio AM band and...
Player left...
Tried to play this 1v1 and always about 15 seconds into the game it states to the host that the non hosting player left and to the non hosting player that he was disconnected.
Bug?
Other games played mine between my friend and I the same evening. This one 6 tries and no...
WB Enterprises, the makers of the insanely popular Completely Customizeable MechWars, is developing a map to pay homage to the great legends of the DC and Marvel Universes. The map is an AoS style map in which teamwork is an absolute must.
The map is planned to be open source and we are...
