Thank you both very much. The reactions I've gotten from classmates has been about the same.
After reading it over myself a few more times, I've spotted a couple more errors that I think I could fix. I will do that at a later time though.

What I find funny is that if this actually happened, half of the people in that messageboard in the article saying "I would have stopped to help" or complaining about others not helping, would not have done anything themselves.
I don't. I just thought it was kind of funny. Unprofessional or not, bursting up into tears over something like that seems like far too much of an overreaction.
