Was this iso ever released to the general public? Does anybody know, or have the file available. It's been so many years I imagine it would long be safe from copyright infringement by now
NUON games were not released in another region, at least not retail. Not that I'm aware of. If it's not a reseal, could just be a manufacturing mistake.
I've seen some pretty elaborate resealing jobs in my day too, so nothing surprises me either.
Probably a reseal.
People typically sacrifice some of the cheaper games(Ballistic, Merlin, Freefall) for the gold cases for their Tetris or Iron Soldier 3. Wouldn't make sense in the case of Tempest since it's one of the pricier games these days.
From an ebay seller a while back. An ebay gouger, I should say. He had a bunch of the rarer NUON stuff for sale like Iron Soldier 3, and some Jaguar stuff too.
Adolobe you have 4 boxed N501s? Wow.
Ever want to sell one of those let me know. I have a friend looking for a system and he doesn't want to pay ebay prices...
I think the Dreamcast version has 2 player, and even online multiplayer. That could be where the confusion comes from.
Not sure about the PS1 version. But I assume it has 2 player.
As far as I know there's zero difference between Next Tetris 2.0 and 2.1 on NUON, unless you hear otherwise.
Iron Soldier 3 works fine on my Toshiba SD-2300.
It's the Extiva N-2000 that has problems playing the game.
It works on my N2000 system, but it does freeze occasionally.
There's another theory that the "recall" had something to do with 9-11, as the goal of some of the levels in the game...
Glad somebody bought it. I almost did, but the seller started the price at $1100 and kept raising it up and eventually wanted $2 grand. No thanks. But congratulations.
Any chance of you doing a nice high-res scan of the DVD cover for Crayon Shin Chan? I have the game but mine is loose...
Either way that trick probably only temporarily changes the region code on the player, which really will only let you play NTSC encoded dvds from other regions.
Crayon Shin Chan was coded for a PAL NUON system, so even if you were able to bypass any and all lockouts, it will likely not run...
From the few gameplay videos it seems like nothing to scream about. I'd probably play it for about 30 seconds. Its rarity and uniqueness as the only Korean exclusive NUON game is the only noteworthy thing about it really.
Yeah this dude with the Korean NUON is unreal. If he doesn't want to sell it he should just come right out and say it, rather than jacking up the price and avoiding people and wasting their time. In reality I think it's worth maybe $600-$800 and that's being very generous, considering all you're...
Stealth controllers were never bundled with hardware, only sold seperately. As far as I know only the Extiva DVD-N2000 had a controller bundled with it in USA, along with a copy of Ballistic.
Some controllers were never released. The airplay for NUON was never released, despite being...
Oh yes, and as far as there being 2 different Warrior controllers...the black version of the controller was only available as a pack-in with the Extiva(Samsung DVD-N2000) system so it's slightly more rare than the standard gray one.
I'm from new york.
I also have a nice Jaguar collection. I have almost a full retail set, missing only like 4 carts and 3 CDs. I don't own any of the homebrew stuff unfortunately.
Heres what I got
Systems
Toshiba SD-2300, complete boxed
Samsung DVD-N2000, complete boxed
Samsung N-501, complete boxed
Samsung DVD N-504, complete boxed
I have one of the RCA systems but I don't really consider it a true NUON system, since it wont play the games, and the 'homebrew' stuff...
Here's some pics of the items for sale...I also have an RCA 480N system for sale as well.
You can see the Iron Soldier 3 disk is very nice, NO PERMANENT MARKER on it. This is about the nicest shape you'll find one in without paying top dollar for a complete retail set.
The RCA 480N...
