Yeah the hashtable can only store things in their right containers. If you have an old map where you were storing destructables in an item array, then consider storing everything in a widget array and typecasting by need.


and that call probably would've never worked.

If it worked, I would murder Blizzard for taking away such functionality.

Though I doubt that it does work because destructables have totally different pathing than items and are snapped to a 32x32 grid.

Why can't you just typecast destructable to widget, then widget to item?
[Is it even possible though? :)]

Yeah I tested lots of things like that back in the day, even things like GetUnitGoldCost with an itemId (i was nuts about items)... None of it worked.

agent handles know their types. Which is why you can only cast them to the right type or fogstate through the fact that fogstate is really just an I2H.
