well the problem with norton is .... it slows down your system way too much ..
(tho anti vir can rather annoying at start up)
why i recomend to use a bunch of anti viral programs to get ridd of the problem is that most known anti viral scanners are not working 100% if a virus is allready on a system ..
and
what 1 program does not detect is detected by another program but that one leaves stuff on the computer that requires a third program and if your super unlucky you need to run 14 different viral scanners ..
and still you might have a few slip ....
for those who are going to reinstall their MS OS from scratch (ie complete format) may i recomend

it's extremly powerfull infact it is so powerfull that u might have a few problems with very invading anti cheat utils deployed by companies like EA for certain games ..
but it works like a charm ..
surfing serial sites with tons of spyware and god knows else .. no sweat .
using kazaa or any other P2P program no sweat ...
it puts a shell around your kernel
so instead of using anti viral signatures it just simply prevents unwanted action ..
user friendlyness coulbe abit better but if you know your machine it works just perfect
