The original Wicker Man back in 1973 is a classic and one of my favourite films, I'm really looking forward to this... loose sequel, if you will.
It was actually filmed in 2009, but British Lion (the distributors) have been having a hard time securing a release slot, what with all the major blockbusters clogging the schedule... a bit of a pain that low-budget films tend to get overlooked.

I watched it again last Friday, even when you know what's coming it still manages the same level of impact. The last act takes a really sinister turn after the deceptive first two.
