This movie looks dumb, but that's probably just me. I'm not a big fan of disaster movies (boring to me).

Well after thinking, I can say that this movie does actually have a story. You don't just watch the world get destroyed (even though that is a big part). If you watch it, there's lots of messages and stuff going on.
And expensive cars.

I haven't seen it, but from what I've seen on the preview ... the whole plate (at LA I guess?) was just ... falling down. The whole ground. That's not going to happen. Ever.

Watched the movie. Felt like 'just another disaster movie', which showcases the effects. CG was great, but then again, most Hollywood box office movies have great CGs. Still enjoyed it tough, they must've taken lots of time in constructing and editng the effects. There wasn't any apparent storyline. Storyline seems to be added for the sake of...'hmmm something is missing, lets just add this to spice it up a bit'.

Basically, it's a movie with great effects but lack of storyline (just as most other disaster movies). Hmmm... Sounds like Transformers 2, which is also a disaster movie to me.

Rating: 6/10

For the 'poles' to 'switch around', the core needs to suddenly switch its rotation direction. Not happening.
Tsunami's reaching the freakin Himilayas? in the middle of Asia? Waves will never travel that far. Never.
Neutrinos reacting with 'the earth's mantle/core' and melting the asthenosphere/outer mantle? Impossible.
I can go on, but I handed my sheet in after we went back to school and the day ended...
But there were awesome parts though which made everyone laugh:

That part where the car won't start and everyone is panicking was pure win. The russian guy yells 'SHUT UP!' and it's all silent... What he said after was the highlight of the movie.

How do waves travel thousands of miles across freakin Asia to get to the Himalayas? Not possible.

The world, the land beneath the oceans, ect, have all shifted. Ocean could of risen up, and the continent could of shifted down.

I thought the whole plate has dislocated and Asia is no longer in Asia...? Or did I miss anything? And the land sinked because the core became hollow or something, and so the Himalayas become 'shorter'?

the first ever premise of the disaster was not plausible, i think...

Neutrinos suddenly mutating and acting like microwaves? i think that was a drastic change.

and the ending... they survived more than a year.... did they seriously pack that much food?..

Also, more neutrinos could mean more energy interaction which meant more heat.
