XP reset... ?!
ok so i've had XP professional installed for a few months, im liking it.. the power went out early this morning
and the comp wouldnt turn back on
it would hang at the welcome screen, which it never did show before..
then after a few resets it boots into factory settings.. all my classic views, preferences etc are f00ked!
reset to factory, it asks if i wanna take the tour! wtf?! lol, i sent an error report this time, my first lol
it said device drivers caused this, but
i havent installed anything but video drivers and that was right when i installed XP hehe, any way i can restore settings without going around to everything.. even had to put my name and pass into Y! again.. homepage reset to MSN. really wierd if you ask me.
