A Story of Heartbreaks and Shortcomings

So it's been a while since I've posted here, so just a small update on what was going on! Don't worry, I'm not dead. Not yet anyway.

Around the beginning of May, my computer broke. Specifically, Windows would hang on the boot logo and no amount of safe mode or repairs seemed to be able to fix it (or even go past that point). I decided it was about time to upgrade to 64 bit anyway, and also decided to buy a new SSD (Samsung 830 128 GB). However, noticing my lack of motivation when it comes to study (largely due to distractions in the form of the PC), I decided to withhold fixing my PC until my exams were over.

Now exams are over; I've got new Windows, a new SSD and 6 gigs of additional RAM; and I'm back on and going to be active again.

...I hope everyones been on their best behaviour...

Don't forget to turn off/move/shrink your pagefile to reduce unnecessary writes to your SSD.

Done that- also disabled hibernation and indexing.
