Enigma posted something about shadowy-fear to have some really cool and funny ones. Like a whale jumping around and hurting people :p ! Very creative shadowy-fear :D 5*****!!! Well so I hope some people have some creative ideas like shadow-fear and his whale. Also I'm making a hero that is
Slyvians Windrunner the Elven Ranger(Slyvains Windrunner), Broozel Stormwrath the Gyrphon Rider(Gyrphon Rider), and Slarvine the Demon Slayer(Illdian)!

LOL yes I do have some ... intersting ... abilities and hero ideas lol :) hence my title lol :D

And as for the giant whale :) :p I suggested in one of enigmas earlier threads that he create a captain ahab hero lol :D that was the ability I suggested as his ultimate lol :p where moby dick comes and thrashes around, dealing great damage, and then goes and sinks captain ahabs ship and then the whale itself dies lol hehe :)

You also had some about a crazy egyptian, Pirate admiral...I can't list them all. Some of the abilities were nasty. I have been working on some of my own, and i hope they are "fairly" original. Nightmare tides, Bombing Run...that is finally nearing completion.

How to ? :p

I have the ability posted in enigmas thread, but I havent really um figured out how to do it or even given it the slightest bit of my attention lol :)

Heres what it would do: Summon a giant whale with a devastating attack, probably neutral hostile, and invulnearable or almost, that just went around and wrought havoc onto the enemy fleet! But, like all good classics, the good guy would die too in that the whale, after a preset period of time, would abruptly cease its attacks and go straight for Captain Ahabs ship, striking it down into the bottom of the sea, but not before Captain Ahab fired his harpoon gun through the whale, mortally wounding both. The problem is that Captain Ahab would die obviously, but the concept is that the Moby Dick would do so much damage that it would be worth it, although not so much if your fleet was heavily outnumbered, but very effective at breaking up enemy formations and utterly shattering armadas before killing Captain Ahab. I agree with enigma in that this should be a novelty hero or secret hero reserved for later versions, if used at all, as it really is more of a novelty and doesnt fit the 'melee spirit'.

I would start out by creating a custom unit with the base of a whale (its in the water doodads somewhere) and then creating that at position of casting unit, then using something to give it a random enemy to attack, or just a passive ability by ramming ships, and then start a timer and when it expires, order the whale to go straight for Captain Ahabs ship, sinking it with one hit, and then the whale itself would die and whatever was left of the enemy fleet would come back, although hopefully your allies had a flotilla at your base or sea or whatever by then.

Thats the general overview of it, hope you can use it :D

BTW --- I give everyone permission to use my ideas heretoforth stated unless I specify otherwise, lol :D although I WOULD appreciate credit for the ideas lol. ;)

Lol! I love your creativty of the whale and Anah and the harpoon! So cool if it worked :p ! That would be far the best ability EVER! That would look so funny and cool! I would spend like 30 minuties just to watch that ability! Also if you get it to work, I have a hero that is a captian too(Proudmoore) and I don;t know what his ulitmate should be. But that would be great if I could copy your idea and triggers :D :p (I'll say this ability is from shadow-fear on the ability description).

what would be funny is if you could duplicate the juggernaut's ult in DotA, and replace it with the whale...it would look pretty much like what it is supposed to.

search the forums, someone else has described it....it is a NASTY ability. It involves random blinkstrikes or something like that.

    It's actually remarkably easy to make mayonnaise though. Fun fact, it USED to kind of be a French mother sauce. I believe that Careme considered it one, it may have been aioli but that has also built a different meaning than it used to. An aioli is just mayonnaise I mixed with other shit typically, I didn't start it don't come at me

    Depending on how you pour the oil the consistency can vary wildly, but that's true for most emulsions. I can only make about two quarts at a time with my robo coup, and if I have to make several in series because I forgot to order it becomes really obvious even when I do it. We have to wait and mix them all together to make sure we have the same thing.

    Hollandaise is also kind of like that, emulsions require a very steady hand to do exactly the same every time.

It is WAY easier to get right by hand because you control it and can feel it, but it takes soooooo much longer. And on the scale a modern kitchen requires... I serve 400-500 guests on average per day right now, if I had 100 then we could do things way better

We have about 100 days of summer, and if that summer doesn't make us what it will, then I can't operate the other most of the year with my staff. The owner is talking about closing two days a week to cut down on labor, I told him he should cut down on vacations and it did not go great. I do think I won though, I have to keep my fucking core staff and they have to be gainfully employed

She can do it no problem, I've worked with her there.

Some of them use thermometers a lot and they don't always use them right, but they do know how to do it. Failure, especially in this field, is the only way to get better. They'll get it

    They won't get feel down while they do the thermometer, but we didn't have an instant read probe when I was learning. Like they did but god knows how off it is, you HAD to do it by feel. Even if the chef was fine with me bringing my own, it takes too long. Poke and know
