Ability rawcodes

Is it possible to access (and set!) ability rawcodes through JASS?
I can remember a thread (not so old) that kind of had the outcome that it was somewhat possible. I just can not find it anymore.

In newgen in the Grimoire menu there's "enable object editor hack". You can't edit a unit's raw code, but you can choose its raw code upon creation.

Thanks, but that is not exactly what I mean. I mean using the rawcodes as variables, so I can create the tooltip text in JASS, for example

There's Reinventing the Craft which is a hack for WC3 that provides extra functionality for single player stuff basically, but... yea. Can't be done, basically.
